Sherlock Holmes meets Airplane! In this riotous 3-man comedy. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous mystery adventure gets a fast-paced, funny makeover in this adaptation where all 14 characters are played by just 3 actors. The comedy stars Tim Williams - who left audiences in stitches last year in ATP’s Fully Committed - as the world’s most famous Detective. The show also stars Luke Walrath as Holmes’s trusted sidekick, Dr. Watson, and Whitefish favorite, Nick Spear, as Sir Henry Baskerville, among other characters. Simon Needham from the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre will direct. Packed full of slapstick, verbal and visual ingenuity, and the fastest Act 1 ever performed, The Hound of the Baskervilles became a runaway hit on London’s West End, and has now delighted theatregoers world-wide.
“We were looking for another hilarious comedy after last year’s hit run of Fully Committed,” says ATP’s Betsi Morrison. “This was recommended to me, and I have to say, it’s one of the funniest plays I’ve ever read. We’re talking “gut-busting, can’t come up for air because you’re laughing so hard” funny. I knew we had to do it.” The Hound of the Baskervilles runs June 20-29 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. We hope to see you there! Tickets available at atpwhitefish.org.
